SUNDAY SCHOOL:

 

A weekly devotional program for children takes place on Sunday mornings from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the temple.

Children participate and learn activities including :devotional songs, scriptures, drama, and other fun and spiritually uplifting activities for the youngest devotees.

 

DISCOURSE:

 

The discourse, a main part of the Sunday program, consists of a speaker basing their talk on popular Vedic scriptures such as the Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam or Chaitanya Charitamrita.

 

Appealing to everyone, from the most experienced of Bhakti-yoga practitioners to a new-comer who has come for the first time, the class focuses on the practical application of Vedic philosophy in our lives.

 

This may range from how we can become more determined and focused individuals, to how we can help our fellow loved ones. Soaked with the time-tested knowledge of the Vedas, these discourses will stimulate your intelligence and give you food for thought.

 

 

 

VEDIC CLASSES:

 

His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada often expressed his thoughts; "We are traveling all over the world, but there is no university, no institution, no school, no academy where the education of spiritual nature is imparted." Therefore he considered the establishment of a Vedic academy essential. "Then the world will be saved from destruction."
 
The Bhaktivedanta Cultural Center has been established to provide to the society at large and to the Congregation devotees of ISKCON Brampton/Mississauga Temple in particular, an institutionalized training in various aspects of Vaisnava studies. The courses offered  consist of a 3 - pronged approach consisting of Sastra, Sadacara and Skills. Please check the resources section for details about future courses

MUSIC CLASS:

 

Here is the opportunity to learn Indian Music. Learn how to play the harmonium, mrdunga, and kartals. Be a bhajaneer and kirtaneer! Get step-by-step lessons with bonafide ragas. For more information please contact the temple

 

 

HOME PROGRAM:

 

Iskcon Brampton actively supports and encourages it's congragation members in organizing home programs. These program usually involve Vedic Scriptures discussion, Kirtan and Prasadam at their residence. Click here to contact the temple management if you are interested in organizing a home program.

BIRTHDAYS & ANNIVERSARIES:

 

The Sunday Feast Program include the celebration of special anniversaries and birthdays of our congregation members who also get the blessing of Sri Sri Radha Damodar. A delicious vegetarian cake is prepared by the matajis on this special occasion.
